Just got a call from my friend Jonathan. He asked me to spread the word that Lulu is hosting a weekend sale. You can buy jon.com at 15% off by visiting www.lulu.com and entering the code word WASHINGTON where indicated on the order form. Not too shabby. BTW, if you want to continue to get updates on Jonathan and jon.com, you need to watch his page at jon-com.deviantart.com.

So much for the commercial. Now on to news about Fellowship Lost. Some of you noticed that I am back at the keyboard writing the latest installments in this psy-fi romance mystery. Among the comments I received was one from :iconlunaticstar: asking (begging?) me not to make her favorite homeboy Johnny old. She loved him at 21 in Fellowship of Psys and is not comfortable viewing him as a 40something old codger. Rest assured, my psys will never be "old" -- older, yes, but never wrinkled or shabby around the edges.

This led me to wonder how you all viewed the characters from the first book and whether you have any preconceived notions about how they look now, 20-some years later. Sooooo... let's hunt down some photos or drawings on dA, shall we? Post them here by submitting the thumbnail code in your response, or if you don't have a premium membership, post the link. I'll capture the image and post it for you. You can post artwork for any character, but LunaticStar hopes it will be John/Jay. I'll see what I can find to get her and you started.

Happy hunting!

Hey Heather! Look what came up when I searched "Johnny"...

Hmmph. Dina begs to differ. Lank of white hair, limps across the room, uses television to lower herself to the floor, lays a twisted finger (it was her shoulder that Zach shattered) on a red spot on the screen. Yes, I know she survived a maelstrom at the end of Fellowship of Psys (and I know who generated that firestorm), but she's been raising a child and running from the Guild for 20 some years. If she were diminished mentally or physically, Scott (or Trish) would have caught up a long time ago. Actually, of all the descriptions you've given of the main players, this one makes me most sad. Scott is still sexy and distinguished, Johnny is still adorably himself, Trish is still fiesty and full of uncommon wisdom. My beautiful, strong willed, independant Dina seems to be turning into Annie. Next thing you know, Zach will show up in pink boxers and fuzzy handcuffs. :noes:

Okay, minirant over. Delete if you want to. :)
