I actually read this a while ago, but have had no time to get back for a critique. Sorry!
This was Simon at his likeable best. As I've said before, I enjoy watching him struggle with his inner wolf. In this case, I wanted Wolfy to win.
Now, on to a new thought that occured to me as I read this piece. There may be one major issue with all of Into the Moonlight, and it involves the conflict. Your characters are appealing, the dialogue is real, and you have a pleasant voice to it all. BUT the conflict is ever changing.
A novel should have one primary conflict that drives all of the action. ItM has a NEW and different conflict every so often. In this case, it is the kidnapper determined to have this baby.
I don't know why I am only noticing this now. It may be because we all post things on dA in episodes. Or it may be that I've enjoyed the characters so much I wasn't seeing the forest for the trees. In any case, you may want to look back at all the different conflicts, pick one, and rewrite things to focus on that one dynamic. You can always save the other conflicts for follow-up novels in the series.

Just a thought.
